We stayed at the Barceló Punta Goleta hotel, near Cabarete in January 2004. The hotel grounds were well tended and extensive, and attracted wildlife such as birds, butterflies and lizards.

All photos taken with the Fuji Finepix S5000 digital camera - the 10X zoom lens was very useful.
